Vantage, by Growth Studio

Your next investor should be your next market.

Money is rarely the constraint for a company with proper traction. Access to a new market usually is. We introduce UK scale-ups to Gulf investors whose standing in the region opens the GCC, and we handle the work of getting you established there.

A Growth Studio venture. [NUMBER] companies supported across [NUMBER] countries since [YEAR].

Why UK companies are looking at the Gulf

National transformation programmes across the GCC have put substantial procurement budgets behind digital infrastructure, energy transition, healthcare, logistics, financial services and education. The buyers are well funded and decisions move faster than in most European markets, which is an unusual combination.

Reaching that demand is the difficult part. The region runs on presence and on relationships, and it rewards companies that arrive introduced by someone already trusted there. A sales rep and a flight budget will not open it.

So most UK companies with a plausible Gulf opportunity never test it. Finding out costs more than it appears to be worth, and the route in is unclear from London. We remove that cost, and we bring the capital that pays for the expansion.

What we do

Three stages, in order

  1. Prepare

We start by working out whether the Gulf is worth your time at all. That means sizing the demand, mapping who actually buys, deciding what your positioning and pricing need to become for the region, and establishing which licensing and entity requirements apply to you. If the answer comes back negative, we tell you early, while it is still cheap for everyone.

  2. Establish

Being ready on paper does not put you in a market. Working with partners in the region, we set up the right entity in the right jurisdiction, open lines to buyers and distribution partners, and stay alongside you through the first commercial conversations. Very few firms will do this part with you.

  3. Fund

We broker the investment that pays for the expansion, from Gulf investors who understand the region because they operate inside it. The capital and the market access arrive together, from the same relationship.

What you end up with

  • An active investor, not a quarterly call

An investor whose networks, credibility and standing in the region are working on your behalf from the first week, rather than a name on your cap table you speak to quarterly.

  • A market you had written off

A market you had probably discounted, opened by people who have done it before and know where the friction sits.

  • A shorter path to revenue

A shorter path to first revenue, because warm introductions compress a sales cycle that cold outreach can stretch across years.

  • No upheaval

You remain a UK company, headquartered where you already are. The Gulf becomes a second market rather than a change of address.

We are selective, and here is the bar

Two conditions, and you need both.

You could raise without us.

Real revenue, real customers, and a growth rate that would clear a competitive UK round today. We do not take on companies looking at Gulf money because they have run out of road at home. It would serve you badly, and it would cost us our standing with investors inside two or three deals.

The region would meaningfully accelerate you.

Your product should address something the GCC is already spending money to solve, with a credible path to material revenue there within [TIMEFRAME].

Typical profile
  • Series A to Series C, or profitable and scaling
  • £[X]m+ ARR or equivalent traction
  • UK-headquartered [OR: UK and Ireland]
  • Sectors where GCC demand is live: [PLACEHOLDER — confirm your priority sectors]

Unsure whether you clear the bar? Ask us. A short honest conversation costs less than talking yourself out of it.

Where we come from

Vantage is built on Growth Studio, which has spent [NUMBER] years running acceleration programmes across Europe and beyond. That matters for practical reasons rather than reputational ones.

We see strong companies continuously and get to know them properly, so the deal flow we take to investors has never been sourced cold. Preparing a company for something difficult is already the core of what Growth Studio does; market entry is the same discipline pointed at a geography. And the name opens doors on both sides of the table, which takes several months out of most first conversations.

  • Deal flow, never cold

We see strong companies continuously and know them properly before any investor does.

  • Market entry is our discipline

Preparing a company for something difficult is the core of what Growth Studio does. Market entry is that discipline pointed at a geography.

  • The name opens doors

On both sides of the table, which takes several months out of most first conversations.

Global reach

Where we have worked

Growth Studio has delivered acceleration, market-entry and growth programmes in [NUMBER] countries, including sustained work across the GCC. We are not learning the region at your expense.

The GCC is not new ground for us

[PLACEHOLDER — 2 to 3 sentences on your GCC engagements: what you delivered, for whom, in which cities, and what came of it. Be concrete. Programme names, client names, outcomes. This block persuades both audiences more than anything else on the site, so write it properly rather than generically.]

Thirty minutes will tell you a lot

Tell us what you are building and where you want it to go. We will give you an honest read on whether the Gulf is worth pursuing, and if it is, what the route looks like.

Common questions

Do we have to relocate to the Gulf?

No. You stay a UK company. We help you open the Gulf as a second market. In most cases that means a local entity and a small presence, not a change of headquarters.

What stage do you work with?

Companies with proven traction, usually Series A through Series C, or profitable and scaling. The test is less about the label than about whether you could raise a competitive round on your own merits today.

Can we work with you on Gulf market entry without taking Gulf investment?

Yes. Market-entry preparation stands on its own. Most companies find the two go together, since the expansion needs funding and the investor brings the access, but you are under no obligation to take capital to work with us.

How long does the whole thing take?

Preparation usually runs [TIMEFRAME]. The investor process depends heavily on the round and the fund, but expect [TIMEFRAME] from first introduction to close. Building real commercial presence in the region takes longer, in quarters rather than weeks. You will get a realistic timeline before you commit to anything.

What does it cost?

A retainer plus a success fee on capital raised, with separate advisory fees for the market-entry work. We set out the exact numbers before you sign anything. No fee appears for the first time at close.

Do you take equity?

Not as standard. On some deals we may participate alongside the investor. If that is on the table for your deal we will raise it upfront, and you can decline without it affecting the engagement.

Do you guarantee we will raise?

No, and be wary of anyone who does. What we will promise is that we do not take a company to market unless we think it clears the bar, and that we say so early when we think it does not.

How is this different from an accelerator, or from a placement agent?

An accelerator can prepare you but cannot fund you. A placement agent can introduce you to money but cannot open a market. We do both, because in this case they are the same piece of work: the investor who funds you is the one who gets you into the region.

Which sectors do best in the GCC?

[PLACEHOLDER — answer with your priority sectors and a line on why each. Specificity here reads as expertise.]

We tried the Gulf before and it did not work. Is it worth another attempt?

Often, yes, and how it failed is usually informative. The common patterns are going in without local presence, without the right partner, or with a product that had not been adapted for the buyer. Tell us what happened and we will give you a straight read.
