About

Geography ought to be an advantage.

Vantage came out of a mismatch we kept running into. UK companies with obvious Gulf potential had no reliable way into the region. Gulf investors with unmatched regional access could not turn it into a reason for founders to pick them. One piece of work solves both, so we built it.

What we believe

  • Capital is close to a commodity for a good company.

If you have traction you can raise. What you cannot easily buy is a new market.

  • A Gulf investor's strongest asset is the region, not the cheque.

Nobody has monetised that properly, because converting access into a concrete offer takes work neither side is set up to do.

  • Access without execution is worth very little.

A promise of introductions is not market entry. Somebody has to do the preparation, the entity, the partners and the first conversations, and that is the part we own.

  • Selectivity is the business.

The day we take a Gulf investor a company that could not have raised at home, we have spent our credibility. So we do not.

Where we have worked

Growth Studio has run programmes in [NUMBER] countries across [NUMBER] continents. The number matters less than what sits behind it: we have taken companies into unfamiliar markets repeatedly, and we know which parts of that work transfer between regions and which parts have to be rebuilt each time.

Our work in the Gulf

[PLACEHOLDER — 2 to 4 paragraphs covering: which GCC countries and cities you have worked in; what you delivered, whether programmes, market entry, corporate innovation or government partnerships; who you delivered it with or for; and what came of it. Name organisations wherever you have permission. Specificity is the whole point. “We ran [programme] with [organisation] in [city] across [years], supporting [N] companies” persuades everyone.]

The people behind it

Four principles

  • Straight answers.

If the Gulf is wrong for your company we say so on the first call. If a deal does not fit an investor's mandate we do not send it. Being easy to trust is worth more to us than being easy to hire.

  • Fewer engagements, done properly.

We would rather run a small number of engagements well than a large number badly.

  • We stay past the introduction.

Anybody can make an introduction. We remain in the work until the market entry is real.

  • Both sides win, or we have not done our job.

We are paid on outcomes. A deal that works for the investor and fails the company is not one we want on our record.

Common questions

How does Vantage relate to Growth Studio?

Vantage is a Growth Studio venture: a separate business, built on Growth Studio's brand, network and capability. In practice that means the deal flow, the market-preparation expertise and the credibility come from an established operation rather than a standing start.

How new is Vantage?

Vantage itself is new. What sits behind it is not. Growth Studio has been delivering acceleration and market-entry work for [NUMBER] years across [NUMBER] countries, including in the GCC. We would rather be straight about that than imply a track record we have not earned under this name.

Where are you based?

London, [PLACEHOLDER — add any regional presence or plans]. We work across the GCC with local partners.

Do you have people on the ground in the Gulf?

We work through partners in the region rather than a permanent office [PLACEHOLDER — adjust if this changes]. Growth Studio has delivered work in the GCC directly, so we know the market first-hand rather than at arm's length.

Are you regulated?

[PLACEHOLDER — see the note in the investor FAQs. Publish nothing until the AR appointment is in force.]

Who owns Vantage?

[PLACEHOLDER — one sentence on ownership and structure.]

How do you make money?

Retainers and success fees on capital raised, plus advisory fees for market-entry delivery. Fees are set out clearly before any engagement starts.

Are you hiring?

[PLACEHOLDER — yes or no, and where to write if yes.]
